Hi, when I try to create a new OS X System, there are only 'Mac OS X (32-bit)' and 'Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (32 bit)'. Why I can't make 64-bit? Select IDE Controller (IDE Primary Master) and select the OS X Snow Leopard ISO file we created in step 3 Left click the RED Apple inside the running VM to bring context control back to the VM (note your cursor will disappear). Now press the F5 key on your keyboard. This will tell the VM to check for the newly loaded ISO file. Since it is a 32-bit Intel application, it doesn't run under Big Sur 11.1. I have a Snow Leopard 10.6.3 retail disc, and have captured an ISO with dd. I downloaded VirtualBox (version 6.1.16 r140961), and have added a new VM, called 'Snow Leopard VM.' I then configured the following: General: Advanced: Shared Clipboard: Bidirectional.
- Snow Leopard Iso Download For Virtualbox
- Snow Leopard 32 Bit Iso For Virtualbox Windows 7
- 32-bit Iso Bootsect.exe

What I’ve got: iMac i3 3.2Ghz 8GB RAM, OS High Sierra 10.13.1 (clean install, no user files), VirtualBox 5.2.18, Snow leopard install disk (10.6.3)
What I’m trying to do: Run Snow Leopard
What I’ve done (a number of times):
- Open VB, Select ‘new’, Name: Snow Leopard, Type; Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (32-bit)
- Memory Size: 4096, Create Virtual disk, VDI, Dynamic, 20GB
- Start, select optical disk file, Host drive ‘HL-DT-ST DVERW GA32N’, start
- runs through black screen & text ok, brings up initial language screen, english selected, install ready to go
- open disk utility, select VBOX hard disk, erase, format Mac OS ext (journ), Name: Snow Leopard, successful, quit disk utility
- Back to OS install, continue, licence agree, continue, select where to install, Snow Leopard selected, install
- Install goes through its process right through to the ‘restart’ dialog box
- On restart, goes back to black screen, white text.
- Goes no further
