The Lion King represents one of the rare times that a movie-to-game conversion actually worked and granted us a pretty good game. (Gamefan magazine actually voted this game 'Movie to Game Translation of the Year 1994'.) Based on the Disney movie of the same name, you play as Simba, growing up to avenge his father's death. This is a platforming game where you start out as playing Simba as a young cub, and later control him as an adult. (Only the first level is playable in this demo version.) The graphics and sounds are great, as you would expect from a Disney-based property. The controls are responsive as well. Try it out if you're a fan of the movie and/or platforming games in general!
