ANTLR requires Java, so we suggest you use Docker when building grammars. The Makefile contains directives to clean, build, test and deploy the ANTLR grammar. It does not run Docker itself, so run make inside Docker. Build the grammar # Build the docker container docker build -t antlrtsql. If you don't mind working with the official Antlr4 code generator and runtime, but don't want to actually download and install Java and the Antlr Tool.jar by hand, try this instead: Install the latest NET 5, or use old NET Core.

and type Terminal and press enter/return key. - Run in Terminal app:

and press enter/return key. If you are prompted to enter your Mac's user password, enter it (when you type it, you wont see it on your screen/terminal.app but it would accept the input; this is to ensure no one can see your password on your screen while you type it. So just type password and press enter, even if you dont see it on your screen). Then wait for the command to finish. - Run:
brew install antlr

Done! You can now use antlr
